Who We Are

The Surfrider Foundation Connecticut Chapter is led by a dedicated team of volunteers united by a shared passion for protecting our coastline. We bring together local knowledge, environmental expertise, and community connections to drive meaningful change along the Long Island Sound and beyond. Together with our 300+ active members and partners across Fairfield County, we work to keep our beaches clean, our waters healthy, and our coastal communities thriving.

We're Looking for a Communications Manager

Want to use your skills to make a real difference for Connecticut's coastline? We're searching for a passionate volunteer to join our Executive Committee and help tell the Surfrider CT story.

What You'll Do

  • Shape how our chapter connects with 5,000+ subscribers and the broader community
  • Manage social media and communications that inspire action
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of dedicated coastal advocates
  • Attend monthly Executive Committee meetings (in-person or Zoom) and chapter events

What You'll Gain
