Summer’s End SUP Classic scores big!!!
This year’s SUP Classic was a great success as over 50 stand up paddlers entered the water to compete and have fun in this benefit race for Surfrider CT. A very special thank you to all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers, who made this event so special! Posted below are the final official results of the race. Look forward to next year as we add a 6 mile race to the event!
Surfrider is pleased to announce the second annual Summer’s End Sup Classic which will take place on Sunday, September 16th, at Esker Point Beach, Noank, CT. The festivities will all begin at 9:00am.
The day will include three races: 3 mile sanctioned race, 1 mile sprint race, and, 2 mile fun paddle. There will be three board divisions: Surf Class (12’2″ and under), Race Class (12’6″ displacement) and Unlimited (over 12’6″). Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers. In addition, the day will include a beach clean-up, music, games, and much, much, more!
The cost is $40 per racer and that includes entry into all races. $25 if you wish to do the fun paddle only. To register please visit: http://summersendsup.eventbrite.com/
