Clean-ups

11/24 &  11/25: Hurricane Sandy Clean-up

On Saturday, Nov. 24th and Sunday, Nov. 25th, 2012, Surfrider CT will be holding a state-wide Hurricane Sandy Clean-up! During this season of Thanksgiving, we ask you to help restore our beaches and waterways in an effort to amend some of the damage done by Sandy. Due to the state-wide scope of the storm, Surfrider is asking everyone to pitch-in and clean-up in an area close to your home. This decentralized clean-up effort is the best way we can think globally but act locally. We ask that you then upload photos of your efforts to our facebook page or email photos to Surfrider CT. Below are links to documents that can help you organize and conduct a beach clean-up, compliments of our European chapter friends. Thank you for all your efforts!
